THE STEVIA

What is it?

It’s an original plant from Paraguay, from asteraceae family.

It’s composition of steviosides and glycosides, makes it the perfect sweetener. 

Presently, we’re the main producer of Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni in Europe. Cultivating 30ha following organic techniques.

DRY LEAVES

Whole leaves, fragmented leaves, and Tea Bag Cut.

STEVIA INSTANT

A dry stevia infusion.

OUR CROPS

We have 35ha in La Vera, Extremadura, Spain.

OUR PROCESSES

Biostevera has a drying capacity of 100tn and 200tn of processing.

PLANTATION

The planting of stevia in La Vera, takes place on April, depending on the spring rains.

HARVEST

In this area Stevia is harvested 2 times per season.

PROCESSING

The plant has to be dried, destemmed and processed by different sieves.

RESULTS

Finally we obtain stevia, either in whole, fragmented, leaves, TBC, or Stevia Instant.
